How to install Java on Ubuntu 9.10





When you paste the first one you will need to type your password, but it didn’t happen to me because i already installed the Java on my Ubuntu. And when you paste the second one like i think, something will appear to you, and here is how to solve it. The mouse will not work there. To fix the problem hold down the “TAB” button and then push down “ENTER” button. After that it will appear again then hold down “TAB” button again and then push down “LEFT BUTTON” and after that push down “ENTER”…

    when i enter
    "sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jre sun-java6-jdk sun-java6-plugin"

    i got this

    E: Package 'sun-java6-jre' has no installation candidate
    E: Package 'sun-java6-jdk' has no installation candidate
    E: Package 'sun-java6-plugin' has no installation candidate

    can you tell me what i have to do please.
