  1. At the 7:41 mark, I've copied all your src. The program compiles (Android Studio 3.3.1) and runs. Unfortunately, when the Store button is pushed, I get this error: "Unfortunately, FirestoreApp has stopped." The logcat shows:

    I have a firebase cloud firestore db and the app is attached to that db. I suspect this is due to using the newest Android Studio, but I could be wrong. Thanks.
